Easy to install without special tools or skills. Simply cut the sleeve to shape and slide on to the end of the tray, reseal and slide into the wall

In the event of a fire, the intumescent material quickly expands to seal the opening to prevent a fire spreading

opening the sleeve then fitting it around the tray and resealing
Easily fitted even when there is access only from one side
Eliminates the need for metal collars and additional fittings
Very easy to cut with a standard padsaw

For very wide walls or partitions over 150mm thick one fire sleeve may be used on each side of the wall / partition
