Designed for use with plastic ducting where it passes through brick or blockwork. Intumescent duct wrap has been designed to fit around the outside of the ducting, sealing the gap made between the ducting and the wall. When subjected to heat, the duct wrap expands inwards to crush the ducting, thus sealing it totally and preventing fire spreading via the ducting to adjoining areas.

  • For use with small uPVC rectangular ducting in solid walls
  • Easy to install - simply wraps around the duct and is held in place by a self adhesive strip
  • Manufactured from flexible fully intumescent material encapsulated in a thin polythene sleeve to allow easy handling and installation

  • Fibres used are exonerated from classification according to HSE guidelines

  • Smallest dimension less than 54mm use one wrap, if greater than 54mm use two wraps
