Aico, the market leader in domestic Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarms is pleased to be sponsoring, and exhibiting at, this year’s Association of Safety & Compliance Professionals (ASCP) Conference at Celtic Manor, Gwent 24th – 25th April 2019.
Formerly known as the Association of Gas Safety Managers (AGSM) Conference, the ASCP Conference has a wider remit, providing a voice for those responsible for all types of safety and compliance in Social Housing, including facilities management organisations. The aim is to help raise standards and establish best practice.
Aico, has a prime position stand, which will be focusing on its range of Carbon Monoxide Alarms at the Conference. These include mains and Lithium battery powered alarms, including single sensor alarms and a Multi-Sensor. They feature a high performance, proven electrochemical Carbon Monoxide sensor which has a ten year life. All alarms are pre-calibrated and tested in Carbon Monoxide gas to ensure accuracy.
All Aico Carbon Monoxide Alarms come with the multiple award winning AudioLINK data extraction technology, which enables real time alarm data (e.g. number of times tested and details of alarm activations) to be extracted directly to a smartphone or tablet via an App which creates an Alarm Status Report. It identifies any issues enabling action to be taken immediately, which is effective for tenant safety and reduces the cost of return visits to a property. AudioLINK also aids compliance for Landlords, providing proof that alarms are working at the start of a new tenancy and with annual Gas Safety Checks.
Aico’s two most recent Carbon Monoxide Alarms will be on display at the Conference: the Ei3018 and the Ei3028 Multi-Sensor Heat & Carbon Monoxide Alarm which is a convenient, cost-effective, efficient solution to protecting tenants from both Fire and Carbon Monoxide in the kitchen and garage.
Aico staff will be on hand at the Conference to not only demonstrate alarms but to also advise on asset management matters and the long term financial benefits of installing quality Carbon Monoxide Alarm equipment, especially in relation to reducing ongoing maintenance costs.
In addition to exhibiting at the ASCP Conference, Aico is a key sponsor of the event. Aico is also sponsoring the Electrical Safety & Compliance Initiative of the Year Award and will be presenting the trophy to the winner on the night.
“We are pleased to welcome Aico once again as a sponsor and exhibitor at this year’s ASCP Safety and Compliance Conference and Awards and would like to thank them for their ongoing support” comments Adam Hart, Commercial Manager, ASCP. “Aico not only support our annual conference but contribute to our regular regional technical meetings, helping us ensure that those responsible for safety and compliance in social housing are kept up to date with the latest industry developments, technical insights and product updates.”
