The Construction Products Regulation EU No 305/2011 (CPR) came into force on 1st July 2013. The Regulations require all stakeholders in the manufacture and distribution of construction products to provide reliable information in relation to the performances of their products. Specifically, when placing a product on the market place, the manufacturer will be required to a) make a Declaration of Performance (DoP) for the product and b) affix the CE mark.
The Declaration of Performance is available for download below and describes the performance of our products to the relevant harmonised European Standard (hEN).
All products are tested by a 3rd Party independent Notified Body (NB) to the requirements of the harmonised European Standard (hEN) and together with the DoP permits the affixation of the CE mark to the products.
The Declaration of Conformity is the mandatory written statement drawn up by Ei Electronics to demonstrate the fulfilment of the EU requirements relating to their products that they have entered into the market place, which is supplemented by Ei Electronics affixing the CE mark to their products. The declaration shall be in respect of all Community Acts applicable to the product containing all information required for the identification of Community harmonisation legislation to which the declaration relates.
The declaration can cover one or more products manufactured, clearly identified by means of product name, product code or other unambiguous reference and must be kept by Ei Electronics, or any authorised representative to act on their behalf.
