Compliance reporting software that meets regulatory requirements

Our case management system is built to align with evolving regulatory requirements, ensuring landlords meet strict obligations under:

Awaab’s Law (2025)

Requires social landlords in England to investigate hazards within strict, mandatory timeframes whilst keeping comprehensive records of all attempts to comply.

Social Housing (Regulation) Act

Enforces stricter compliance tracking, reporting measures and greater transparency in social housing management within England.

Building Regulations & PAS 2035

Supports long-term improvements in ventilation, heating, and insulation performance.

Scottish Housing Regulator’s ARC Indicators

Requires social landlords in Scotland to report on damp and mould cases, resolution times, and recurrence rates.

Welsh Housing Quality Standard

The 2026 amendment to The Welsh Housing Quality Standard has introduced strict hazard response for social landlords in Wales in line with Awaab’s law. Social landlords should also ensure that their properties have adequate ventilation and are free from damp to stay compliant.

The Investigation and Commencement of Repair Regulations (Scotland)

Coming into effect on the 6th October 2026, this will apply defined timeframes for investigation and repair of hazards in all rental properties in Scotland.

New case management system features introduced

We have strengthened the HomeLINK platform to provide clearer tracking, stronger compliance, and improved visibility across the entire lifecycle of a case. These updates ensure housing providers move from proactive detection to verified resolution with ease.

  1. Automated Scottish ARC Reporting for Landlords

Simplify your regulatory compliance reporting with automated data generation. HomeLINK now captures the essential data required by the Scottish Housing Regulator for three key indicators:

  • Indicator 31: Resolution Time (Damp/Mould) – Automatically calculates the average working days from the first report to full resolution, categorised by cause type.
  • Indicator 32: Reopened Cases (Damp/Mould) – Tracks the percentage of cases reopened within the reporting year to identify recurring issues.
  • Indicator 33: Open Cases (Damp/Mould) – Provides a real-time count of unresolved cases outstanding at the end of the reporting year (31 March).

As long as a case has a Main Root Cause added, it will be included in report calculations.

For resolved cases, landlords can also select a reason for resolution and provide details on how the issue was resolved. This ensures reports are not only accurate but backed by clear audit trails.

2. Enhanced Case Status & Tracking

Our case management tracking system now offers deeper insights and more robust audit trails to protect both the landlord and the resident.

  • Clear Audit Trails: For every resolved case, users can select a specific “Reason for Resolution” and provide detailed fix notes, ensuring all mould management actions are backed by a transparent evidence base.
  • Consistent Lifecycle Tracking: New status definitions provide a standardised view of a case from the initial report through to final sign-off.
  • High-Risk Oversight: Improved visibility for cases marked as ‘reopened’ or ‘monitoring’ allows teams to prioritise damp and mould surveys and urgent interventions for the most vulnerable properties.
