Aico’s Social Housing Professionals Network (SHPN) Roadshow is set to return for its fourth consecutive year in 2026, bringing together leading voices from across the social housing sector for a series of exclusive, invite-only events across the UK.
Spanning 19 locations nationwide, the SHPN Roadshow offers housing professionals a unique opportunity to engage with industry experts, gain critical insights, and connect with peers in an interactive and informative setting. Each event will feature expert-led speaking sessions, networking opportunities, and interactive activities.
Expert-Led Sessions Addressing Key Sector Challenges
This year’s speaker line-up reflects the most pressing issues facing the social housing sector:
- TSA (Technology Enabled Care Services Association) will explore the growing importance of Technology Enabled Care (TEC), including the critical impact of the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) switch-off. Their session will outline key risks, responsibilities, and actions required for 2026, highlighting how TEC supports safer, data-driven housing services.
- ASCP (Association of Safety Compliance Professionals) will examine the role of assurance in electrical safety, presenting audit insights into common non-compliances across BS 7671 and BS 5839-6, alongside guidance on regulatory duties for inspection, testing, and maintenance.
- CIH (The Chartered Institute of Housing) will host an interactive session addressing questions on compliance, governance, and Awaab’s Law. There will be a live Q&A, with the opportunity for attendees to submit questions online.
- Aico will showcase its latest TEC innovations, including advancements in software and AI, and discuss how housing providers can align with evolving standards through effective fire, carbon monoxide, and asset management strategies.
In England and Northern Ireland only:
