This full-day training course has been designed to give a detailed understanding of the design, installation, maintenance, interconnection, siting, and electrical connection of domestic alarm systems.
Delivered by a member of our expert Technical Team, the course includes a variety of theory-based and practical sessions covering:
- Standards and Regulations, including BS 5839-6, Installation Building Regulations, Fire Construction Products, Carbon Monoxide BS 50292, rented regulations, Fitness for Human Habitation Act (Wales) and the Tolerable Standard (Scotland)

How do I apply?
To be eligible to participate in the training you must be:
- An Expert Installer
- Be a member of the Aico Installer Community
If you meet the above criteria, please log in to the Installer Community to register your interest.
New dates are released from within the Installer Community monthly. Members will be notified when new dates become available and these operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
