A Year of Progress, Purpose and Partnership
2025 was a truly special year for Aico. As we marked 35 years in business, it gave us an opportunity not only to celebrate how far we have come, but also to reflect on the impact we continue to make across home life safety, connected homes and our wider communities.
A total of 6.25 million products were sold in 2025. This performance exceeded 2024 sales, surpassed our targets and marked another record-breaking year for Aico.
Events and Awards

In 2025, the Social Housing Professional Network Roadshow returned for its third year and continued to go from strength to strength. With 16 stops across the country, we welcomed 1,000 attendees from 400 organisations. Expert sessions from Trowers & Hamlins helped housing professionals gain deeper insight into the evolving legal landscape, reinforcing the importance of collaboration and shared learning across the sector.
Our work was also recognised externally with a number of prestigious awards won throughout the year. Highlights included winning the Champion of Champions award at the Shropshire Business Awards. This award was open to every single Company of the Year over the last 25 years. There was further recognition from the Fire Resilience Excellence Awards and IFSM. These accolades are a testament to the passion, expertise and integrity our colleagues bring to their roles every day. We also achieved a significant sustainability milestone, being awarded a top 1% EcoVadis Platinum Rating. This means that Aico is now ranked in the top 1% of more than 150,000 companies assessed globally, an exceptional milestone that highlights the company’s unwavering commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and sustainability.

Supporting Installers

A key milestone in 2025 was the launch of our Platinum Partner Initiative. Building on our Gold Standard Installer programme, this new and prestigious achievement recognises organisations that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to raising standards in home life safety. I was delighted to announce Sureserve as our first-ever Platinum Partner, setting the benchmark for excellence within our industry.
Over the past year, our commitment to education and raising standards has never been stronger. We delivered almost 3,000 training sessions across the UK, engaging with more than 20,000 professionals from the housing and electrical sectors. These sessions, whether in our mobile units or on-site, are fundamental to improving safety outcome and I am incredibly proud of the scale and quality of what our team achieved.
Our online Installer Community also continued to grow, and we currently have over 7,000 members. Giving back remains central to this platform, and in 2025 alone, we gave away £6,000 worth of prizes – our way of recognising the vital work installers do every day.
HomeLINK: Innovation with Purpose

2025 was also a pivotal year for our Bristol team moving into a new office and doubling the size of the team gain within a year. Most importantly, the team made major advancements in our connected home offering with the launch of the Case Management Portal.
This development proved particularly timely with the introduction of Awaab’s Law in October, placing stricter timeframes on social housing providers responding to reports of damp and mould. Our data analysis insights are now playing an increasingly important role in helping providers meet these obligations and protect residents.
In October, we also brought back Damp and Mould Action and Awareness Week for its second year. Through webinars, educational content and open discussion, the week created meaningful connections across the sector as we collectively work towards safer, healthier homes.
Community at the Heart of Aico

Our Corporate Social Responsibility programme continues to be driven from the top and embedded throughout the organisation. Our culture, values and ways of working are reflected in the enthusiasm of our colleagues, who consistently volunteer their time and energy to support community projects and raise funds for charities close to their hearts.
Project SOS returned this year wit
h a visit to Woodside Primary School, where colleagues transformed outdoor spaces to welcome students back in September. We also hosted a Halloween Kids Club during October half-term, reinforcing our commitment to supporting families within our local communities.
Thanks to the dedication of all colleagues across the business, in 2025, Aico:
- Supported 2,600 students through educational and skills training workshops.
- Provided 40 students with work experience across departments, including Marketing, Finance, Product Development, Customer Service, Technical and the Warehouse.
- Delivered 54 educational visits in schools and at Aico.
- Donated nearly £400,000 to charities and good causes.
- Fundraised £20,500 through colleague-led activities.
- Volunteered 1,506 hours to local community projects.
These figures represent real people, real opportunities, and real impact, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we have achieved together.
Looking Ahead to 2026
As we move into 2026, our focus remains firmly on the future. With new products, expanded training programmes and continued investment in our people and partnerships, we are excited about what lies ahead.
Thank you to our colleagues, partners and clients for being part of the Aico journey. Together, we will continue to raise standards and make homes safer for everyone.
